So come on down, bring your knitting, or your scrap-booking, your quilting, your bedazzler, your hot glue gun, your soldering iron or whatever else you might need to get your craft on and join in the fun. Also we have a ton ideas and supplies so if you don't have a project to bring with you we can help you out too. See you soon!
NOVEMBER 29rd ALL DAY LONG
This year try thinking and buying local for the holidays! Plaid Friday is an awareness and consumer movement that tries to move the dollars that Americans typically spend on Black Friday out of the malls and back to Main street. We hope that you can come down to Main street (or South 3rd Street...or Wells Avenue) and help out your community and all your loca businesses have a successful and fun holiday season! Thanks so much for buying local during the holidays AND all year round!
ROBBERY BAKE SALE/SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY
NOVEMBER 30th ALL DAY LONG
This time last year the shop was broken into and robbed. In response to the sad news and the financial blow to the store the community got together and held a holiday Bake Sale to help me recover what was lost in the robbery as well as the cost of the lock repairs. I was so moved by the outpouring of support and enthusiasm the community showed that this year I have decided to return the favor. We will be holding a Bake Sale all day on Saturday November 30th which is also Small Business Saturday so even if you do not need sweet treats or are not much of a baker, Downtown Renton is still the place to be on the Saturday following Thanksgiving! We will be making a Facebook Event for the bake sale and anyone is welcome to make something to put in the sale. We are asking that donations for the Bake Sale be dropped off here at the shop between 10 am and 1 pm on Saturday November 30th, if you would like to donate something but have other plans for Saturday feel free to drop off your goodies the night before as we will be open until 8pm for Plaid Friday! We sincerely hope you can join us and help us have fantastic and successful Small Business Saturday!
